Examples for Breakdown of marriage: A marriage may be seen to have broken down in any of these situations.

  1. Either party has begun legal proceedings to end the relationship.

  2. The member has been re-categorised as a member without dependants.

  3. One or both parties declare that the relationship has ended.

Examples for Breakdown of partnership: A partnership may be seen to have broken down in any of these situations.

  1. Either party has begun legal proceedings to end the relationship.

  2. The parties no longer maintain a common household.

  3. The member has been re-categorised as a member without dependants.

  4. One or both parties declare that the relationship has ended.

Examples of Essential household items:

  1. bedding.

  2. children's requirements (excluding toys).

  3. cooking utensils.

  4. cutlery and crockery.

  5. refrigerators.

  6. washing machines.

Examples for Private vehicle: Cars, trucks, motor cycles (and sidecar), motor scooters.

Non-Examples for Private vehicle: Recreational or hobby vehicles that cannot be registered.
