Division 5: Review of benefits

The Minister may change the declaration of service as warlike or non-warlike if the operational situation changes. If the declaration changes, conditions of service will also change.

Deployment allowance rates may be reviewed on any of these occasions.

1. Every six months.

2. When a formed unit is replaced.

3. If there is sufficient change in circumstances.

A member receiving deployment allowance must be aware that the rate initially approved may increase or decrease during their deployment, as a result of reviews.
