In the total workforce system, a member of the Permanent Air Force may be described as an Air Force member in Service category 6 or 7.

Note: To avoid doubt, the eligibility period for payment of the Officer Aviation Remuneration Structure allowance under clause 7b(i) or (ii) above commences from the date of the member’s Squadron Leader or Wing Commander seniority date.
