The hardship location grades for hardship locations can be found on the Defence Protected Network at https://objective/id:BN70506377.
Location grades are subject to change based on periodic reviews of the conditions at the overseas posting location. Changes to location grades will impact the rate of location allowance and the number of additional recreation leave days. A change to the rate of location allowance and the number of additional recreation leave days can be large. Location allowance and the number of additional recreation leave may go up or down.
