Example: A member is posted to an international committee. The committee provides a housing allowance to all members. The member uses the housing allowance to pay for their housing and has no eligibility under this Part.
Dispute resolution
Guidance
- Any disputes about matters arising under this Part may be referred to the Head of Post for consideration and resolution if possible.
- The Head of Post may refer the matter to the Overseas Administration Team, Melbourne.
- This dispute resolution framework is informal only, and does not prevent a member using the redress mechanism available under Part 7 of the Defence Regulation 2016.
