The current Australian Government funded dental scheme is the Child Dental Benefit Scheme. The person must have been in receipt of Family Tax Benefit Part A in Australia prior to departure to the overseas posting location. Information about the scheme can be found on the Services Australia website.
Additional dental treatment required may be covered by the ancillary services benefit provided under Division 10. Once the ancillary services benefit is exhausted any additional dental treatment costs are the responsibility of the person.
