Defence provides many benefits for ADF members, but did you know some could also help your partner maintain and grow their career while they support your ADF service?
The Partner Employment Assistance Program (PEAP) allows eligible partners of ADF members to claim up to $1,500 per financial year for approved professional employment and training costs.
Eligibility
Before your partner applies for PEAP, it's important to make sure you both meet the eligibility criteria.
As the ADF member, you must:
- be performing continuous full-time service (CFTS) as a member of the Permanent Forces or Reserves
- be posted to a location within Australia.
Your partner must:
- be listed as your resident family in PMKeyS
- live in Australia
- not be a member of the Permanent Forces or Reserves performing CFTS.
