How to read salary rates tables
Ranks are listed by service, Army, Navy, Air Force. Look for your equivalent rank.
Example
You're a Lieutenant in the Army in the Permanent Forces who's at pay grade 4 and had one increment advancement.
- Look at the table titled Officers
- Find Lieutenant (LT) in the Army column
- Find the row for your increment to the right of your rank, 1
- Follow that row across until you reach the column for your pay grade, pay grade 4
- Your salary is $107,850
