You'll have unaccompanied resident family if your family live apart from you due to service, compassionate, work or study reasons. You may have been called member with dependants (unaccompanied) (MWD(U)).

You'll have accompanied resident family if your family lives with you. You may have been called a member with dependants (MWD).

Talk with your chain of command about where you’d like to live during and after your transition.
